Riddim Colony, the no.1 authentic reggae band of Hungary plays real jamaican culture music from deep roots to the hottest dancehall in original jamaican style, from their foundation in 2005. Every concert is a unique, unforgettable musical experience, the burning positive vibes are guaranted.The band often works together with different mc-z and singers and their repertoire is ever fresh. The hardcore riddim section with a strong combo of 3 horns gives the base to Gregory G.Ras, who is the golden voice of the band supported by 2 wonderful vocalist ladies. G.Ras is a conscious warrior of righteousness, peace and justice, his lyrics and style together with the original and international riddims played by the band result top-class dj, singjay and singer-style dancehall, roots and lovers tunes. Riddim Colony is regularly playing in its hometown Budapest, all around Hungary and in other European countries as well. The high musical level, the positive and powerful message, the energetic stage show has become their flavour, so they are permanent guests of festivals and clubs in Hungary and abroad. They've played before several reggae legends like Max Romeo, Sizzla Kalonji, Perfect, Mykal Rose, Yellowman, House of Riddim, and in the summer of 2009 the band is invited to play on the main stage at Rototom Sunsplash festival. Riddim Colony also works as a backing band, they have worked together with Mandingo Warrior (Gambia), Lion D(I-Nig), Osagyefo(GH), General Trix(RO), Kemon(WG), Sena, Columbo, Milli Chab and many others.

Their first album Message of I&I was released in 2008 and the first copies are already out. The Hungarian radios play tracks from this CD. Their first videoclip was made from the killer tune 'Wha Gwaan' at the Black Sea alongside General Trix, a great DJ/MC straight from Timisoara and Jr Brown a former mc in the group. This clip was put onto Hungarian musicTV playlists. The latest releases of the band is a 4-song-EP, called 'What a day' debuted in January 2009 containing the clip as well.
